Sezgin Özer

With more than 30 years of experience in international tourism, Sezgin Özer is the founder and Chairman of the Board of TimeServices, one of Türkiye's leading destination management companies. His extensive background spans tour operating, destination management (DMC), international business development, service exports, and sports tourism, and he has made significant contributions to the growth and brand value of Turkish tourism in global markets.

Özer's professional career in tourism began during his university years, while he was studying in the Chemistry Department of the Faculty of Engineering at Hacettepe University. Over the course of his career he has worked as an entrepreneur, investor, and senior executive across hospitality, travel agency, tour operating, and destination management businesses.

Active in tour operating in Russia, Özer was part of the founding team of Detur, one of Türkiye's pioneering tour operators, and later achieved significant success in the sector as the owner of Bentour Russia. He subsequently became one of the founding partners of Kilit Global DMC, active in international destination management, and took an active role in major projects contributing to the sector's development.

TimeServices, which he founded in 2006, is today one of Türkiye's leading destination management companies, operating across numerous international markets including the Russian Federation, the CIS countries, Germany, the Scandinavian countries, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East.

TimeServices maintains active partnerships with more than 1,000 hotels across its operating regions — the Mediterranean (Antalya, including Kemer, Belek, Side, and Alanya), the Aegean (İzmir and Muğla, including Fethiye, Göcek, Didim, Bodrum, Marmaris, and Kuşadası), and Istanbul — delivering comprehensive solutions in accommodation, transfers, destination management, MICE, sports tourism, and VIP services. With a strong operational infrastructure and a team of more than 200 Russian-speaking specialists, the company successfully manages travel arrangements for hundreds of thousands of guests in Türkiye every year.

Throughout his career, Özer has been active not only in operational management but also in the international promotion of Turkish tourism, leading the planning, coordination, and management of numerous workshops, roadshows, B2B organizations, destination promotion events, launches, training programs, and international presentations held both domestically and abroad. Across hundreds of organizations held primarily in Russia, the CIS countries, Europe, and the Middle East, he has brought hotels, destinations, and tourism brands together with international partners, making significant contributions to Türkiye's promotion and the growth of its service exports.
